Clesh: A Quick Guide

Use this guide as a quick start tutorial for our free guest account or for your own Clesh account.

STEP 1: Computer and connection

You need to use a computer of 3Ghz and 512MB RAM. Lesser computers will work but performance may be slow. You also need an ADSL (or other 512 kb/s or faster download) connection to the Internet.

Configure Java Memory Setting

Clesh requires 190MB of Java memory for optimal performance. See the help section for instructions on how to configure this on your computer.

STEP 2: Upload your video content to Clesh

Library footage is available for use.

You can upload your own footage directly to the website by using the Clesh web upload page.

Alternatively, you can download the CleshLoad software onto your PC or Mac.

To upload files from your mobile into your Clesh account, follow these instructions:

  • Open a web browser on your mobile
  • Go to your Clesh account URL with /webupload added to the end. E.g. http://clesh.com/test/cleshupload

  • Then beneath type in the name that you would like the file to appear as in your Clesh account
