Enabling Java on Internet Explorer 4 for Mac OS 9

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. From the Edit menu, select Preferences to get the Preferences window.
3. Select Java from the Web Browser section, and enable Java, as shown below:
   
4. Click OK to close the Preferences window.
5. You may also have to increase the amount of Virtual Memory available for Internet Explorer to be able to use the Forbidden Technologies Video Player.
6. From the Apple menu, select Control Panels.
7. From Control Panels, select Memory to get the Memory window.
8. Turn Virtual Memory on, and ensure that at least 128M is available, as shown below:
   
9. Click the top-left close box to close the Memory window.
10. Reboot your computer to allow these changes to take effect.
