Enabling Java on AOL 5 for Windows
- Start AOL.
- From My AOL, select Preferences to get the Preferences window.
- Click on the WWW button to get the Internet Options window.
- Go to the Security tab, select Internet and click on the Custom
Level button, as shown below, to get the Security Settings
window:

- Select Medium safety under Java permissions, as shown below:

- Click OK to close the Security Settings window.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
- Click the top-right close box to close the Preferences window.
- Restart AOL to allow these changes to take effect.
